This week’s Music from the Road is a sampler of Steven Curtis Chapman’s diverse range of styles spanning from rock to classical, each one with a message.

Whatever

From Chapman’s 1999 album Speechless.

Long Way Home

From Chapman’s 2011 album Recreation.

No Greater Love

This track from Chapman’s 2001 album Declaration was inspired by the tragic and incredible story of missionaries Nate Saint, Jim Elliot, Ed McCully, Pete Fleming and Roger Youderian reaching out to the Huaorani people in Ecuador. This story was dramatized in the 2005 movie End of the Spear. Mincaye himself has a part in this song.

The Journey

An instrumental classic from Speechless.
